What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Specialist (Fine Gardener) position at SavATree LLC?
The individual in this position will directly support the Fine Gardening Division Manager by carrying out divisional projects as directed.
The role will be responsible for the completion of herbaceous garden/ container installation and maintenance projects. It will ensure that all projects are carried out safely, efficiently, accurately, while maintaining the highest level of work quality.
Essential Responsibilities:
All gardens, containers, and beds are beautifully designed, installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Sites are kept neat and tidy and tool loss is eliminated.
Perennials and annuals are to be cut back as necessary to keep them looking good.
All plants are to be kept pruned. Any breakage, suckers, odd growth, or passed blooms should be removed.
All plants should be kept properly fertilized.
Watering/ irrigation must be monitored constantly. Work with the irrigation staff to adjust the controller as necessary.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience in the gardening industry.
A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record with proficiency operating truck, trailers, and various types of machinery.
Proven depth of knowledge of industry-accepted gardening and herbaceous plant care practices.
