The Child Development Assistant - On-Call will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our early childhood programs. This role will involve working closely with teachers, caregivers, and families to ensure that each child receives the highest level of care and attention. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain confidentiality, work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to the well-being and safety of all children and families.
Essential Responsibilities
* Assist classroom staff in all aspects of daily program operations
* Support teachers and caregivers in implementing curriculum activities and lesson plans
* Provide individualized attention to children as needed, including assistance with meals, snacks, and hydration
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and progress for each child
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
* Minimum 18 years of age; ability to pass background check and obtain necessary certifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, and walk for extended periods;
