Overview
Save The Michaels of The World inc. a professional, dynamic, and forward-thinking non-profit organization is looking to hire an organized and compassionate individual to fill the position of Case Management Supervisor for our Lockport Recovery Center. The Case Management Supervisor will serve under the supervision of the Program Director. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to staff and participants, ensuring needs are met through effective care coordination. This position requires a background in substance use disorder and mental health counseling.
Responsibilities:
o Overseeing the volunteer program.
o Overseeing case management programming.
o Showing mutual respect to participants, families, and other staff members.
o Assisting with reviewing all program related paperwork; progress notes, care plans, etc.
o Assisting in reviewing case management program practices and procedures to ensure they follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
o Collecting case management data for monthly reporting.
o Responding appropriately to emergency situations per established policies and procedures.
o Collaborating with the Program Director on hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
o Interacting with participants in ways that are dignified, respectful, and trauma sensitive.
o Collaborating with local partners, building relationships with service providers, attending tabling events, and planning community activities.
o Collaborating with other employees of Save The Michaels of the World as necessary.
Education and/or Experience:
o Credentialed Addiction and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC)
o Minimum bachelor’s degree
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Strong interpersonal skills
o Ability to work as part of a team
o Supervisory experience
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to organize and manage protected health information
o Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
