Job Description of EHS Coordinator
An immediate need for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) coordinator specializing in construction in St. Pete, FL. The candidate will be credentialed (e.g. – BS, MS, OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.).
The EHS coordinator will work directly for a trade contractor on-site. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct documented daily EHS inspections
- Deliver site specific project EHS orientations
- Participate in the Daily Hazard Analysis process
- Investigate incidents to determine root cause and develop corrective and preventative actions
- Review EHS plans and assist with plan development when needed
- Ensure contractors are adhering to their EHS plans
- Make certain craft workers are appropriately trained for their required tasks
- Deliver various EHS training modules
- Assist in managing a positive reinforcement program
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of experience in EHS specializing in construction
- OSHA 30 Hour Construction
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office products
Preferred Education/Certification
- BS/MS in a related field
- OSHA 500/510
- ASP/GSP/CSP/CHST/STSC
