Job Description The Accounting Assistant will support the efficient operation of the company by assisting with a wide range of administrative and accounting functions. In addition, the Accounting Assistant will also provide financial analysis and support as required. Responsibilities: " Using Microsoft Excel and bookkeeping software to enter information into company files or databases, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate. " Assists unit management with clerical tasks in relation to accounting, including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance, etc. " Operating technology, systems, and software such as copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office " Partnering with other staff members to compile, analyze, and report financial data. " Making journal or ledger entries " Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager Required Skills: " Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook " Accounting major or similar field strongly preferred. " Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written " Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail " Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs. " Requires frequent performing of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms
