What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Savory?
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's preferred) and at least 3 years of experience in general accounting. You should also have experience with general ledger systems, advanced knowledge of Excel, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills. A proactive attitude and the ability to function well in a team-oriented environment are also essential.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a part of this team, you will prepare accurate and timely financial statements, conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, and analyze financial statements for discrepancies. You'll also review inter-company transactions, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and assist with the annual external financial statement audit. Additionally, you'll manage receivables from restaurant house accounts and coordinate with the accounts payable team to ensure timely payment to vendors.
