Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Watch Officers to support our government client in Alexandria, VA for the nights and weekends shifts. Candidates must be analytical thinkers and produce error-free and accurate reports.
Essential functions
- Maintaining situational awareness of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related events, incidents, and threats
- Producing incident reports, creating reporting products, and supplying briefs
- Maintaining a database, tracking incidents, and ensuring reports are timely and accurate
- Analyzing data and reporting all findings to leadership and the team
- Producing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) imagery to support reporting products
- Drafting, reviewing and updating briefs and reports
- Participating in the daily Operations Calls
- Requesting data from Federal Protection Service (FPS) and DHS entities as needed
- Accessing, navigating, and utilizing law enforcement databases such as WebRMS, LEIMS, EIS, HSDN, HSIN, MIST
- Ability to accommodate shift work which may require working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
