Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Partnership Manager supports Study Smart Tutors’ efforts in growing its arts, media and entertainment and career and technical education curriculum product line within school districts, educational institutes, state departments, and universities. The position will be responsible for direct outreach to new clients, and attending virtual and in-person events and conferences.Job ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development (90%)Develop lists of schools and districts in target marketsOutreach to school directors or similar decision makers to create pathways for new salesDevelop strategic partnerships with CTE directors and other decision makers to drive “retail” salesPartner with Inspire EDU in an effort to grow our educational curriculumCreate a professional and engaging first impression with our prospects and customersAccurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in SalesforceGenerate new business through outbound prospectingProvide client support before / during / after implementationConduct discovery calls to identify customer requirements and expectations in order to make tailored product recommendationsProactively seek new business opportunities with leads and outbound sales development activitiesAttend local, virtual, and national conferences and eventsWhen feasible, travel when needed to attend conferences and events, planning meetings, renewal conversations, and support student / staff / family programming.Day to day tasks Include : Pre-call research and planningCold and warm callingFollow-up with previous contactsMaintaining and renewing previous customersUtilizing SalesforceWork closely with sales and marketing team to develop strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new businessOther Duties (10%)Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as neededThe Partnership Manager will use email and phone communication to establish and build relationships with potential partners.The Partnership Manager is a fully remote position in CA and will report directly to the Associate Director of Partnership Development. Site visits and in-person meetings throughout the state will be expected on a weekly basis.Qualifications2 Years in similar sales or development role in education fieldContacts or experience working with school districts in CaliforniaBachelor’s DegreeAbility to quickly develop relationships and establish credibility through consultative needs-based conversationsAbility to think on your feet to creatively solve our customer business needsExceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Salesforce softwareAbility to visit clients throughout CA on weekly or as needed basisWillingness to take direction and execute tasks independentlyPreferred expertise / experience in Arts, Media, and EntertainmentSalary and BenefitsFull-time salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
