Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our growing organization. As the COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company and ensuring its smooth functioning. You will afford the CEO to predominantly focus on new business and relationship generation. You will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, managing budgets and finances, leading managers, and implementing operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

We ask of you to work a minimum of 3 consistent days a week within the office. You will also run weekly Profit Center meetings over Zoom or in person.

Duties

  • Compliment CEO as Integrator; provide senior leadership and guidance to all departments within the organization
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management activities
  • Supervise and mentor department heads to ensure effective performance
  • Manage overall operations, including program management, process improvement, and project management
  • Identify opportunities for business development and growth
  • Lead efforts in strategic planning and execution to drive organizational success
  • Lead recruiting for new seller territory directors

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in media or publishing in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO or similar position
  • Strong background in budgeting, financial management, and operations management
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in program management, process improvement, and project management
  • Sound knowledge of business development strategies and implementation
  • Proficient in strategic planning and execution
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
