IP RECRUITER GROUP is recruiting for the following opportunity :
Our client, a law firm with an excellent reputation for quality, is looking for another exceptional patent attorney (partner track) with a solid technical background and strong patent drafting skills. This practice has an abundance of high-quality work from an impressive and diverse list of clients.
Primarily, this opportunity will relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents, opinions (patentability, infringement, freedom to operate), and patent portfolio strategy. There will also be the opportunity to work on due diligence, IP agreements, reexaminations, reissues, and PTAB issues, depending on your interests and capabilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential due to the substantive client engagement involved.
Patent Attorney Requirements :
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in engineering (mechanical, chemical, materials, manufacturing, automotive, aeronautical, civil) or physics.
- JD, state bar, USPTO registration.
- At least 2 years of full-time claim drafting experience in chemicals and life sciences.
