Crystal City, VA | HybridSummary : This position supports the Program Management Office (PMO) by providing strategic communications within to include : Provide day to day strategic communication (public affairs) support to PM Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A)Handles sensitive or confidential informationCoordinates Strategic Communications and Holiday messagesPlans, coordinates, and executes Town Halls and conferencesPrepares and coordinates briefingsWrites publications and articlesMaintains the PM IPPS-A briefing libraryPrepares speechesPrepares talking points for IPPS-A leadershipPrepares a variety of documents, such as : correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, spreadsheets using advanced skills and knowledge of word processing softwareAdvises writers in matters of style, syntax, and usage to improve the general quality and effectiveness of communications to include AR 25-50Minimum Qualifications : 10 years of experience, and a MA / MS degree or equivalent years of experienceProven track record of working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independentlyMust have a Secret ClearanceKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities : General knowledge of DoD acquisitionProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 productsKnowledge of the Army’s AR 25-50Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skillsExcellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skillsWorks well individually or in a group setting.Ability to listen and understand task descriptions and requestsAbility to explain problem resolutionsAbility to quickly respond to time-critical queries from leadershipAbility to work independently without direct supervision or guidanceFlexible work from home options available.
