Position Summary:
The CEO will oversee and coordinate all business aspects of SAW, Inc., ensuring the financial sustainability and operational excellence of the organization. This role is responsible for strategic planning, regulatory compliance, fundraising, and managing key relationships with stakeholders, including business customers, government agencies, and the Board of Trustees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all operations of SAW, Inc., ensuring the highest quality services for business customers (both entrepreneurial and supported enclaves) and individuals served.
- Lead entrepreneurial ventures, monitor market trends, and adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Oversee operations to ensure compliance with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between SAW, Inc. and the Board of Trustees, providing accurate financial reports, business analyses, and strategic recommendations, and all similar functions associated with the operation of the organization.
- Represent SAW, Inc. in relationships with other organizations, agencies, and business partners and exercise final authority to negotiate and enter contracts, agreements, and services, as needed.
- Oversee fundraising efforts, including grant applications and direct fundraising campaigns.
- Direct and supervise management personnel, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Ensure timely completion of critical business documents, including tax filings, wage and hour certificates, annual reports, budgets, and legal contracts.
- Lead the recruitment and hiring of key professional staff.
- Engage with the community and corporate partners to promote and expand SAW, Inc.’s programs and services.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff to ensure accountability and professional growth.
- Address multiple priorities and challenges with professionalism and sound decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly oversee the COO, IT & Methods Engineer, Accounting Manager, and Executive Administrative Assistant.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in business management, or a master's degree in accounting with at least five years of experience.
- Experience working with non-profits or publicly funded agencies.
- Strong understanding of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, Medicaid regulations, and Home and Community-Based Waiver programs.
- Proven leadership skills in managing a team and coordinating multiple business operations.
- Experience in commercial real estate navigation and strategic planning with consultants.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, contract administration, and business forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle complex issues with professionalism and strategic thinking.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
