Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, and medication administration.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment.
- Plan engaging activities.
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans.
- Collaborate with a team of DSPs, supervisors, and other staff members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
- Plan and participate in community outings.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the agency’s insurance company.
- Must have reliable transportation with the ability to arrive to work on time every day.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
- At least two years' experience working with the DD population.
