What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thai restaurant: Kitchen food prep assistant, Host, Busser, Cashier position at Sawatdy Thai Cuisine?
Must be 16 or over. Want to be part of a staff with high energy, a team focus, and a great attitude to serve in host, cashier, busser or food prep assistant roles?
Work is for dinner shift, start at 3:30 pm to approximately 9:30 pm. Must be available 2 to 5 days/week, including some weekends and some holidays. Schedule arranged with owner. No previous restaurant experience required but is preferred. Must have own reliable transportation; no public transport available.
Need good communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities, and portray a warm, friendly and sincere disposition, with a smile.
HOST/CASHIER responsibilities include greeting guests, answering phone for reservations and takeout orders, retrieving takeout orders from kitchen for picking-up guests, and cashier duties. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
BUSSER responsibilities include providing guests water, and removing dirty plates, silverware and glassware from tables. Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booth seats. Inspect floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop. Respond appropriately to guest requests, sharing info as appropriate with server.
KITCHEN FOOD PREP responsibilities include preparing first courses and salads, garnishing plates, and otherwise supporting cooks.
