Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate, customer-focused Fine Dining Food Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, a passion for high-end service, and a dedication to providing a top-tier dining experience. This position requires a refined knowledge of food and beverage offerings, as well as the ability to anticipate guests' needs in an elegant, upscale environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort guests to their tables with professionalism and warmth
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring a thorough understanding of menu items and specials
- Provide detailed and knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine, and cocktails
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring the correct presentation and temperature
- Manage guest needs during the dining experience, including refills, clearing plates, and checking satisfaction
- Address and resolve customer concerns or requests with tact and efficiency
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service
- Maintain an orderly and polished dining area, ensuring a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines in line with restaurant standards
- Stay knowledgeable about the restaurant’s wine list, drink offerings, and menu updates
Qualifications:
- Previous fine dining serving experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairings
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for providing exceptional service
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- TIPS certification or similar alcohol service training is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or other heavy items
