Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:
· Interact directly with guests in the Art Spot and Studio One, providing art instruction to all ages.
· Teach on your own in either Studio One or Art Spot, using a pre-designed class or a class of your choosing.
· Occasionally assist an Artist led class in Studio One, providing support and supplementary instruction to guests.
· Prepare class materials for the week and ensure that class bins are properly stocked.
· Engage with each patron directly, giving each the attention they deserve, and making them feel welcomed while working to meet their needs quickly and efficiently.
· Politely and respectfully address customers’ questions, regardless of their knowledge or experience.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area; materials and supplies are properly stocked throughout the day.
· Maintain a pleasant work environment for customers and colleagues.
· Provide your availability in a timely manner and adhere to the schedule set forth by the Supervisor.
· Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) governing operations, playing the role of brand ambassador of the Sawdust Festival.
· Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Pay Range
$16.50 to $18.00 per hour
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Available to work during day, evening, and weekend shifts.
· Art experience is preferred but not required.
· Teaching experience and/or experience working with kids is highly preferred.
· Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
· Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
· Grace under pressure.
· Ability to learn new phone/web applications. We use Paycom as our employee management system.
Working Conditions:
Work is typically performed in an open-air, roofed studio.
Physical Requirements:
· Employees may be expected to lift up to 50lbs and will need to bend, reach, pick up small objects, and utilize common artistry tools and paints.
Salary : $17 - $18
