Assistant Area Manager – Janitorial (Evenings)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~6–7 hours/night (5 PM–12 AM), with occasional weekend availability
Type: Full-time or Part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time Area Manager role
Location: Based in South Florida – travel between sites in Palm Beach & Broward counties required

About the Role

Sawgrass Cleaning Solutions is growing – and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us. This is not your average cleaning supervisor role. We need a hands-on leader who can manage evening operations, support cleaning crews, and step up when challenges arise.

This position is designed for someone who can hustle, take ownership, and grow into a full-time leadership role like Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit multiple client sites during the evening to oversee crews and ensure quality work

• Perform hands-on cleaning duties when needed (offices, restrooms, floor care, etc.)

• Cover open shifts when staff are unavailable

• Help train, guide, and motivate cleaning staff

• Monitor supply levels and equipment functionality

• Communicate site needs, client feedback, and any issues to management promptly

• Uphold company standards and safety protocols

• Maintain a clean, professional image while representing the company on-site

Requirements

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) – required

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle – required

• 1 year of supervisory experience – janitorial or similar field preferred

• Comfortable doing physical work: standing, lifting, bending, etc.

• Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities

• Clean background check

• Positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to lead by example
