Responsibilities
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing food costs effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive team environment.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Implement shift management practices to optimize workflow during peak hours.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality ingredients are sourced.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs, manage logistics for off-site events, and oversee all aspects of food preparation and service.
- Expertise in preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and consistency for catering events.
Requirements
