Inside Sales Team Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a dynamic and engaged Inside Sales Team Manager. As a key member to lead the Inside Sales Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that this team and supporting processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to keep the team focused and on task while continuously challenging the team to engage in ongoing process improvement. Your priorities will include helping team members grow in their roles which in turn brings growth to the company. The Inside Sales Team Manager will manage the Inside Sales Team along with coordinating sales and marketing administration processes to support company goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for managing the Inside Sales Team to include Inside Account Management, Sales Support Specialists, Order Specialists as well as Admin Support for the Sales and Marketing Teams. This person will need to set, motivate, and track goals for all members of the team. Importance on building an open-communication environment for all team members, meeting regularly to understand growth for the team and the company. It will be expected that this person can suggest and implement improvements in the various processes the team is involved in. They will need to collaborate with various departments and execute on tasks and projects through the Inside Sales Team, so it's essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. Sales metrics reporting will be needed along with regular forecasting. Focus for team on customer engagement, with both dealers and end customers, to support company sales goals. It will be important to ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met. The person will need to utilize tools and coordinate personnel to support Sales as well as Marketing initiatives.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven work experience as a manager over employees
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
  • Motivation to succeed and lead by example
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • CRM software experience (NetSuite Preferable)
  • Microsoft Software experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • BS degree in Business Administration, or relevant field

NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Work experience as an Inside Sales Team Manager
  • Understanding of sales and marketing tasks and processes
  • End customer as well as Channel sales experience
