Security Officer (Armed)

Private home seeking security guard in a private residential neighborhood.

The pay is $40 dollars per hour. You will receive a 1099 tax form at year end. You are responsible for paying taxes on your earnings. This job is only for people who currently reside in Honolulu county.

You can work everyday or less; your choice. The total hours and number of times per week is negotiable. Short term or long term. We are seeking someone who will only work for us (for in-person jobs) during your work term. Opportunities for additional hours, depending on your skills.

Looking for someone that is available afternoons, evenings, early morning hours.

The house is close to the Waikiki-Kapahulu library, the zoo, and the Kapahulu Rainbow Drive Inn.

You must be willing to do a background check. I will pay for the background check. If I call you, I will ask to see your i.d. and ask for references. Do not send your i.d. card in your first response. First, I will provide you references of people that have worked for me to validate that I will not do anything malicious with your personal information. You can ask my references if I would do that.

Other desired skills: Home repair; yard work; fixing appliances; handyman, handywoman. List any trainings and certifications, such as CPR, First Aid, food safety. Interest in learning massage therapy techniques is a plus. I will teach you assisted stretching, if you are interested.

Seeking someone who has a car. Gas reimbursement provided. Plenty of street parking available. Taking the bus is not acceptable at this time (due to coronavirus hazards).

About us: work will be for two people: an elderly patient and her adult son. The elderly patient is at high risk to viruses. Coronavirus vaccination (Moderna or Phizer) is required. Be willing to follow high level social distancing practices during off hours as well as while working.
