What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Automation Engineer position at Saxon Global?
Scope / Requirements :
- Shared resource across my enterprise services teams (Facets Enterprise Services, Data Domain Services and BizTalk teams)
- Will lead planning and execution of test cases for team's features in accordance with Wellmark's QES standards. Will partner with and lead offshore testers to leverage scale where work requires.
- Will primarily interact with RESTful apis (node.js & python), backend data stores (MongoDB, Aurora MySQL, Redshift, DynamoDB, MS SQL, S3, etc.) and limited work on front-end work with Angular.
- Is proficient in test automation and enjoys collaborating with engineers, data analysts and scrum master, BSA / PO roles.
- Has cross functional skillset and can "pitch hit" in requirements writing, data analysis, and / or CI / CD if QA work is lighter for a sprint.
- Has experience working in cloud environment.
- Is passionate about Scrum, agile and DevOps.
Required Skills : SDET / Automation Engineer Front-end framework is built on selenium, database tool is built on an oracle-based product (Source to target) and API / performance testing leverages J-meter. Required (Node) or Python Postman JEST - Unit Test TDD, Expectation is that all (90 %) will be automated.
