The Electrical Design Manager provides managerial and technical supervision to the Electrical team using expertise and experience with complex technical activities, provides guidance on unconventional or complex programs, direction on design techniques, and new approaches to assignments with conflicting criteria.
- 10 Years of relevant experience
- Electrical building construction industry experience
- 3-5 years of leadership experience - Should have led a team
- mechanical engineer
- Revit exp (IIts a 3D Software)
- Must have PE License (Professional Engineer)
- Registration in Florida
- power distribution, understanding the distribution within a facility. Power distribution, Lighting, and low voltage (power limited)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical
10 years of formal training and experience in Electrical engineering with at least five (5) years as a Technical Team Leader.
Must have experience as a group leader or project engineer on complex, multi-discipline engineering design or projects.
Sufficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit to manage work of staff using these computer software products.
Understanding of the National Electrical Code.
SKM and/or ETAP Systems Analysis knowledge a plus.
Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS SharePoint a plus.
