Join the Sazerac Company Archives team as an Archives Intern and gain hands-on experience in historical preservation, artifact documentation, and exhibition planning. Location: Frankfort, KY (this is not a remote opportunity)
Hours: 15 hours/ week
Starting date: Now (this is not summer only)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Archives staff in cataloging artifacts and documents using the PastPerfect5 system.
Collaborate with various departments to inventory objects throughout the distillery, ensuring accurate documentation.
Support the planning and execution of exhibitions, bringing historical narratives to life for visitors and team members.
Conduct historical research, helping to deepen the understanding of Sazerac’s legacy and its impact over time.
Provide support to the Archives Assistant and Archivist in day-to-day operations and special projects.
Conduct work in a professional, and timely way.
Contribute to projects that promote brand and Homeplace development, reinforcing the connection between history and brand identity.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Deeply enthusiastic about preserving history, exploring artifacts, curating documentation, and engaging with historical narratives
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
- Detail Oriented

PREFERRED
- Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Skilled in photography and video editing
