We are looking for a bilingual legal office support specialist to join our team! Our legal office support specialist should be comfortable working with Spanish-speaking clients, be attentive to details, and be able to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as receptionist for firm, including scheduling and confirming office appointments
- Draft and coordinate legal documents served on defendants throughout the United States and the world
- Draft legal documents for cases in family court at the attorney’s direction
- Organize and maintain updated records of all client files and community collaborators
- Help organize community events for the firm such as free consultations and special programming
- Greet all incoming visitors and clients
- Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
- Send, receive, and distribute correspondence, packages, and faxes to all appropriate parties
- Coordinate couriers and deliveries following established guidelines
- Ensure that communal areas are properly equipped daily with office supplies
- Support office staff as needed and assist with other general duties that contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the office
Language:
Spanish and English are required. Portuguese language skills will also be considered.

Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages (oral and written) is REQUIRED. Portuguese is also preferred
- High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
- 1-2 years of professional experience in office setting is preferred
- Excellent organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail; ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong record of cultural competence and cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with attorneys, law firms, and/or legal and social service providers.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing; ability to adapt to a high-volume workload with fast-changing deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Windows and Internet applications is essential. Knowledge of other legal software is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
