What are the responsibilities and job description for the After hours Dispatcher/Customer Service position at SBC Transportation Inc?
*Can keep track of the drivers' progress and provide status updates.
*Receive and respond to phone calls, providing assistance to internal and external customers, which includes tracking and expediting their requests.
*Create, assign, dispatch, and close trip order on McLeod System.
*Address emails promptly and handle urgent requests in a timely manner.
*Provide customer service between trailer interchange partners and company.
*Update Client, track, monitor, and have promptly information.
*Verify that all orders are in system with corresponding information.
* Send timely notifications to clients regarding late or delayed freight.
* Identifies and implements continual improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, team, and company.
* It is necessary to provide driver information, paperwork, and verify all the provided details.
* Please ensure to verify that the drivers are correctly connecting to the appropriate equipment.
* Provide a daily report outlining the details of work activities.
* Notify any discrepancy and be able to follow up and update system.
* Other tasks as assigned.
