Account Executive-Integrated Security Systems
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to join a growing commercial Building Controls Integrator that is seeking an Account Executive for the Kansas City, MO area. Interested candidates will have demonstrated success in selling commercial integrated security solutions and have ability to prepare estimates and craft proposals by reviewing security design specifications and also conducting existing building surveys.
Compensation commensurate with experience, with a mid-range of $80,000 base plus aggressive commission plan, car allowance with gas card, excellent benefits, and more!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and close security projects (with focus on card access and video/CCTV systems) and associated service opportunities with strategic end-use customers, specifying engineers, architects, and electrical contractors.
- Work with operations personnel to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all Security solutions offered by company. Meet directly with customers to establish needs and drive the overall sales process.
- Conduct customer site visits and estimate both security system installations and service opportunities.
- Create market awareness for company through networking, cold calling, presentations, and attendance at local trade association meetings.
- Work strategically on targeted new logo owner direct prospects, existing customers, and new construction projects with electrical and general contractors.
- Take a leadership role with select product partners in support of their business development activity.
- Construct and submit professional written proposals and new construction bids within established deadlines.
What you will need to be successful:
- Security systems design and operation knowledge and a general understanding of building electrical systems
- Established relationships in the engineering, general contractor and architect communities
- Three or more years of Integrated Commercial Security Systems Sales experience
- Experience reviewing Security design specifications & plans
- Demonstrated success of selling Integrated Security Management Systems
- Formal strategic selling or other type of professional sales training desired
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- High school education or equivalent
- Valid drivers’ license and ability to pass background screen and drug test
