Planning Manager - CONFIDENTIAL

Denim & RTW brand is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to work with sales and merchandising to develop and drive strategies to maximize sales, profit and optimize inventory with cross-functional teams. The Planning Manager will be a key driver in delivering financial results that maximize revenue, gross margin, inventory turn goals and minimize excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Forecasting, Receipt Management and Financial Planning
• Support omni channel planning (retail, e-commerce and wholesale) on sales and inventory strategies.
• Partner with Sales and Merchandising to Analyze historical sales performance to identify drivers of trends
• Develop data driven, detailed financial plans for sales inclusive of net, gross, margin, return rates etc. for both e-commerce and retail store as well as quarterly wholesale targets.
• Monitor, track and/or suggest Transfers/RTV/Markdowns
• Manage OTB receipts for e-commerce and retail and support in Wholesale buy reviews for all accounts
• Review Markdown and promotional strategies to insure in line with margin goals
• Work with IT on any systems integrations and building out tools with a focus on improving reporting tools, analysis, reporting and buy strategies
• Work with finance to actualize monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts
• Manage seasonal ATS and monitor internal stock position,
• Collaborate with Production on fabric planning.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 8 years of proven track record working for large retailers globally.
• Highly motivated multitasker with strong communication skills
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Previous experience working with a vertical organization (Wholesale, Retail, Ecom)
• Advanced excel skills
