DescriptionThis position is accountable for those pharmacy services which require pharmaceutical education and state licensure; leadership experience and extensive clinical and professional judgment. The Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services serves as a patient advocate when planning and implementing clinical initiatives, by considering disease conditions, backgrounds, and drug therapies in a fiscally responsible manner. The individual’s role involves but is not limited to budget planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, and clinical and management functions.Qualifications : Education : To qualify, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree is required.Licensing / Certifications : New York State Pharmacist License required.Experience : Five years of institutional experience in a hospital setting with at least two years of experience in a pharmacy management position.Possesses excellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately.Can work well with other disciplines and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.Is able to manage a diverse workforce.Knows how to organize and prioritize work while illustrating good time management skills.Exhibits a professional attitude in dealings with co-workers, patients, and vendors.Can proficiently read, write, speak, and understand English.Is open to training / giving and receiving instructions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
