What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director Pharmacy Clinical Services position at St. Barnabas?
This position is accountable for those pharmacy services which require pharmaceutical education and state licensure; leadership experience and extensive clinical and professional judgment. The Assisociate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services serves as a patient advocate when planning and implementing clinical initiatives, by considering disease conditions, backgrounds and drug therapies in a fiscally responsible manner. The individual's role involves but not limited to budget planning,ensuring regulatory compliance, clinical and management functions.
Education :
To qualify a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree is required.
Licensing / Certifications :
New York State Pharmacist License required
Experience :
Five years of institutional experience in a hospital setting with at least two year's experience in a pharmacy management position.

- Is able to manage a diverse workforce
- Knows how to organize and prioritize work while illustrating good time management skills
