Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist with experience working with plastic materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC lathes and mills, along with expertise in programming, setup, and troubleshooting. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role. Positions available for 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
Program CNC machines using CAM software or manual programming methods.
Select appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for each job.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition.
Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed to maintain production flow.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathes.

Experience working with plastic materials is required.

Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and precision.

Effective problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
