As SBP’s Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for running a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse that ensures construction tools and materials are supplied to project sites according to building schedules and in alignment with procurement policies. Additionally, this team member will oversee the maintenance of SBP’s vehicle fleet. The Warehouse Manager manages the AmeriCorps Supply and Logistics team.

Responsibilities
- Receive and track all purchased and donated materials to ensure items are properly accounted for.
- Ensure the warehouse is a safe workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety policies and protocol for warehouse and delivery operations.
- Establish and oversee the utilization of systems to track materials and tools entering and exiting warehouse
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Maintain fleet of vehicles through regular inspections and maintenance
- Ensure standardized procurement protocols that result in cost and time savings are being followed, while building a culture of cost controls and long-term savings through procurement.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and mitigate risk in contracts
- Ensure that accurate materials, in proper quantity, arrive at/are removed from jobsites on time.
- Lead, develop and retain a team of 1-2 AmeriCorps Members
- Provide additional support to the Director of Construction and the program as needed

Requirements
- Education & Experience: Experience in procurement, distribution, logistics, management, warehousing and/or construction. Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety standards.
- Skills: Top-notch written communication and interpersonal skills
- Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead teams with a customer service focus. Willingness and enthusiasm to regularly train AmeriCorps members and volunteers from diverse backgrounds with little to no prior experience. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and do physical labor in diverse weather conditions.
- Alignment: Passion for SBP’s mission and the resilience to work in fast-paced environments.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Flexibility: Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Compliance: Ability to pass a criminal background check. Valid Driver’s License
