Job Description
Network Maintenance & Management :
Install, configure, and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Maintain and update network diagrams and documentation.
Security & Compliance :
Implement and maintain network security protocols to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.
Manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection / prevention systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Troubleshooting & Support :
Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support for network-related inquiries from staff.
Work with vendors and service providers to resolve connectivity issues.
Network Optimization :
Monitor network traffic and performance to identify areas for improvement.
Implement network enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
Research and recommend new technologies to improve network operations.
Backup & Recovery :
Ensure network configurations are backed up regularly.
Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures for network infrastructure.
Qualifications : Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and architecture.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
- Knowledge of VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and other network protocols.
- Familiarity with network security tools and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
