Responsibilities
SCA is looking to hire an experienced Cisco network engineer to help deliver Network Due Diligence projects to support Merger & Acquisition objectives. You will be responsible for new site engineering, assess current and future network quality, and validating network and security configurations. This will involve compiling and analyzing site specific information that may impact development costs or schedule, or present risks to the overall operation of datacenter infrastructure. You will be expected to engage, direct, and manage external consultants and resources to analyze risks and develop mitigations.
To ensure success, you should have extensive experience with network installations, good communication skills, and experience with large scale networks. As a network team member, you should be able to deploy and maintain scalable and secure networks that meet the needs of the business. The Infrastructure Engineer will help to solve complex problems through innovative and thinking to align projects with the greater goals of Information Technology and the organization.

This position is primarily responsible for:
- Analyzing existing hardware, software, and networking systems
- Compiling and analyzing site specific information that may impact project feasibility.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks.
- Review and prioritize risk-based mitigation recommendations, partnering with internal stakeholders to secure funding and manage projects to successful resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, driving efficiencies, and developing initiatives to improve SCA Health's management of risk.
- Develop and monitor internal metrics, goals, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
- Creating and implementing scalable Cisco networks according to Security and Client specifications
- Testing and troubleshooting installed Cisco Systems
- Build and Troubleshoot VPN B2B Tunnels
- Administer and Maintain ISE NAC Policies and Servers
- Troubleshoot VOIP Network
- Resolving technical issues with networks, hardware, and software
- Performing speed and security tests on installed networks
- Applying network security upgrades
- Upgrading/replacing hardware and software systems when required
- Creating and presenting networking reports
This position is primarily responsible for, or having knowledge of:
- Detailed knowledge of Cisco networking systems
- Experience with storage engineering, wide-area networking, and network virtualization
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems.
- Experience with end-user training.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems (ServiceNow) is preferred but not required.
- Participating in cross-functional teams
- Translating daily activities into knowledge/how-to articles
Qualifications
Education and experience equivalent to:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Networking Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- CCNA Certification
- At least 5 years' experience as a network engineer

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Able to clearly explain technical issues in a way that nontechnical people can understand.
