What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Development Coach position at SCAD - Savannah College of Art and Design?
As an employee development coach, you will support approximately 2,100 employees through personalized development, including courses, workshops, coaching, assessments, research, and more. You will conduct one-on-one and small-group leadership development sessions and create presentations and workshop materials for initiatives such as Leadership Playbook courses, C to C mentoring programs, employee orientations, assessments, annual meetings, retreat planning, and ad hoc development requests, among others.
The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills. They should be able to prioritize and manage projects while effectively presenting ideas and concepts. The candidate can cultivate positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, possesses an outstanding work ethic, and has a keen eye for details. The ability to meet expectations and deadlines is essential. The candidate should also excel as both an independent contributor and as a collaborative team member. Additionally, they must possess a strong commitment to personal and professional integrity.
Minimum Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in communications, English, performing arts, or a related discipline
- Professional experience within an innovative, fast-paced, and professional environment
- Experience and confidence in public speaking; learning, development, and training; and communicating with diverse audiences in a university environment

Work Hours : The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and / or hours, including weekends and evenings.
