Title : AVP/VP – Client Partner
Location : New York / New Jersey
Reporting : SVP of Sales
Job Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts
- Understand clients' business objectives and challenges and provide strategic IT solutions
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts
- Collaborate with sales teams to generate new leads and convert them into profitable business engagements
- Develop and present proposals and contracts to clients
Account Management:
- Oversee the delivery of Digital and IT services to ensure they meet client expectations and contractual obligations
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments
Strategic Planning:
- Work with clients to identify long-term Digital and IT needs and develop strategic plans to address them
- Provide insights and recommendations on emerging technologies and industry trends
- Assist clients in developing IT roadmaps and budgets
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, technical consultants, and support staff, to deliver high-quality IT solutions
- Facilitate communication between clients and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for client accounts
- Conduct regular client satisfaction surveys and feedback sessions
- Implement improvement plans based on client feedback and performance metrics
Negotiation and Conflict Resolution:
- Negotiate contract terms (Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work) and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients
- Resolve conflicts and disputes in a professional and timely manner
Preferred Skills & Qualification:
Experience with Private Equity & Financial Institutions as Clients:
- Proven experience (10 years) in managing client relationships with Private Equity firms, asset managers, or large financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of how technology can solve specific pain points for these clients, such as improving deal flow, streamlining fund operations, optimizing portfolio management, and enhancing investor relations.
Technology Solutions for PE/Financial Services:
- Demonstrated expertise in selling and implementing technology solutions tailored to the financial services sector, especially for Private Equity clients.
- Familiarity with solutions for fund administration, investor portals, CRM systems for deal sourcing and tracking, and data analytics platforms that drive informed investment decisions.
- Experience positioning digital transformation initiatives that improve the client’s efficiency and provide a competitive edge.
Client Engagement at C-Level:
- Proven ability to engage with C-suite stakeholders, managing partners, and operational leaders at Private Equity firms and financial institutions.
- Experience in crafting technology strategies that align with their business goals, including operational optimization, scaling investment operations, and improving transparency and reporting for investors.
Proven Track Record in Account Growth:
- Demonstrated ability to grow strategic financial services accounts through technology services. Experience with building long-term relationships with Private Equity firms, identifying new service opportunities, and expanding the footprint across multiple areas like infrastructure, cloud services, data management, and cybersecurity.

Financial and Business Acumen:
- Understanding of financial services business models and investment processes within Private Equity firms. Ability to align technology offerings with the client’s business outcomes, driving measurable value through operational improvements, cost efficiencies, and enhanced returns.
