The Job
The VP, Enterprise Applications is responsible for overseeing the Software Engineering and Service Management functions for our Enterprise Application / Software & Services Team along with our Technology Enterprise Services teams at SCAN. Technologist adapt at leading agile, modern technology engineering teams working in a fast-paced environment, delivering technology solutions with a service-oriented mindset.
You Will
- Develop and work with IT leadership in translating our strategy into actionable product, engineering, and technology roadmaps.
- Innovative leader bringing thought leadership and new ways of working to our software engineering teams, managing software development lifecycle processes, leveraging cloud and Agile based engineering techniques.
- Manage IT Service Management teams including oversight of offshore vendors, working to deliver quality solutions at an optimized cost structure.
- Oversee IT Enterprise Services functions including change control, project management office (PMO), release and vendor management.
- Represent the technology team by communicating direction and data-driven insights to leadership peers, customers, partners, including our Board of Directors.
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees.
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Manage cost center budget, having overall budget responsibility for the enterprise technology services cost center.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
- Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
