Medication Assisted Treatment Program
Position: Intake Specialist-Part-time (24-28 hour per week)
Duties: Intake Specialist will be responsible for gathering and processing initial information from adult individuals with substance use or co-occurring disorders. The intake specialist will use evidence-based screening tools to determine individual needs. The intake specialist will be responsible for client caseloads, screenings and assessments, documentation of client progress and participation, data collection, coordination of services, case management and discharge planning.
SCAN has more than 39 years of experience in behavioral health and is committed to the highest quality standards in treatment services. New counselors receive training on all evidence-based practices and cutting-edge competencies in culturally-responsive, integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment. As part of the clinical treatment team, the counselor will receive ongoing supervision, training and consultation in the delivery of services within a strength-based supportive environment. If LPC-A, SCAN provides free supervision and offers all program counselors opportunity to expand and grow within the agency's multiple comprehensive programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences.
- Have an LCDC License, LCDC-I, LPC or LPC-A.
- Be bilingual.
- Good computer skills.
- Valid TX driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
Benefits for this Part-Time Position include:
- Salary: 19.00 per hour.
- LPC-A's will be assigned an LPC-S.
