Sales Support Coordinator

Scandinavian Spaces is a nationwide distributor of high-end Scandinavian contract furniture representing some of the best curated manufacturers from Sweden. LINTEX is the leading glass / white-board manufacturer in Europe. In our effort to expand the presence of our writable-surfaces manufacturer called LINTEX, we seek a Sales Support specialist with experience in the contract furniture industry and / or interior design.

Job Summary

Sales Support is the glue that holds everything together and they provide guidance and knowledge at every step of the furniture buying process. Relationships are built externally with sales reps, manufacturers, dealers, general contractors, interior designers; and internally with marketing, operations and order / logistics. Sales Support has responsibility for leading challenging contract furniture projects from start to finish while providing the highest level of service.

Essential Functions

• Be an expert on Scandinavian Spaces’ product line
• Send out samples and catalogs
• Maintain and manage the CRM system with contacts and sales opportunities
• Develop, issue and revise accurate quotes
• Coordinate between sales rep and factory for custom made requests
• Work with Marketing Dept. to consistently communicate business and design trends, consumer and trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance characteristics.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has 1-5 years experience working within the broad A&D trade and is looking for a new challenge. The candidate must be based in Austin or willing to commute.
