What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Dock/ Office Assistant position at Scenic Fruit Company?
Scenic Fruit Company, a family owned company for over 90 years is the oldest berry processor in the Northwest. We are currently seeking an energetic and hard-working individual to join our team for our busy harvest season. This is an administrative support role that works in a general office environment performing basic office duties, as well as outdoors on our front dock to check in trucks and weigh in the berries being received.
This is a seasonal position (Now through September) with full-time hours available. We work hard to accommodate a flexible schedule if we can, but the hours vary from normal office hours to nights & weekends.
Pay is dependent upon experience & skills. Accounting experience could lend to additional responsibilities and higher pay if desired.

Essential Functions:
· Weigh and check-in trucks, count, measure and tag crates and pallets correctly on the dock
· Process receipts using field plan and data by date
· Compile, copy, sort and file records/receipts and maintain organization in the office
· Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner and route calls appropriately
· Greet and process all site visitors in a positive, friendly manner and maintain visitor sign in/out
· Serve customers by answering questions; forwarding messages; confirming customer orders; keeping customers informed of order status
· Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, voicemail systems, personal computers and postage machine
· Order office supplies and production supplies
· Compute, record and proofread data and other information
· Perform data entry tasks
· Provide administrative support to office staff
· Contact/interact with growers for required documents
· Run errands as needed
· Perform other duties in support of department as assigned
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· High school diploma or GED preferred
· Highly detail oriented
· Solid math skills are a must
· Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
· Strong organizational and structured work style
·Must be flexible with hours, shifts vary! Looking for someone flexible to work various shifts. Trucks come at different times during the day/night.
