Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services to ensure continuity of care.
- Implement and maintain our clinical staffing model.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs.
- Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms and reports.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree
Experience: 0-1 years
Licenses and Certifications:
Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
Must have current valid CPR certification.
