Way Mechanical is a mechanical contractor located in San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Nashville, and North Carolina. We specialize in Emergency Services, Preventative Maintenance, and SOW projects. We are seeking a self-motivated skilled Chiller Technician to join our growing Commercial Service and Maintenance group.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Diagnoses HVAC, refrigeration, and performance through observation, testing, and setup
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
- Complete electronic documentation of service-related, tasks, materials, and labor hours
- Be able to explain the service charges and work performed to the satisfaction of our customers
- Maintain inventory stock on the service vehicle
- Reconcile work order documents, vendor packing slips, and weekly time sheets for supervisor review
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician experience
- Ability to follow construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair
- Must have a valid EPA Card and TDLR
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record
- Stable work history showing responsibility and professional growth
- Ability to competently use a variety of gauges, meters, measuring instruments
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and the customer.
- Clean driving records are required.
