Working with students in our Mason Office and homes in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician at Schaefer Education Solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism through the implementation of behavior intervention plans. This position is essential in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, promoting skill acquisition and independence.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that foster social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or education in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
