Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of sound and vibration measurement, simulation and vehicle simulation technology to solve complex customer problems.
- Understand, assess, and decompose noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) requirements and assess NVH simulation results (Campbell diagram, waterfall diagram, modal analysis, transfer path analysis, etc.).
- Identify and coordinate external / internal testing for NVH and measure airborne sound and structure-borne vibration.
- Develop NVH best practices, evaluate designs to the best practices, and coordinate with related groups on NVH topics.
- Communicate NVH topics including technical proposals and explanations with customers.
- Support and train test engineers in data acquisition and analysis, and support NVH testing that occurs at test labs both within and outside of Schaeffler.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field.
