Your Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Schaeffler brand bearing products to the Industrial Aftermarket through authorized distributor channels.
- Develop and implement territory sales growth strategies and projects to grow long term market share.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and budget.
- Develop positive relationships and rapport at both distributor partners and end-user to promote Schaeffler brands.
- Offer product training to both distributor and end user customers in the region.
- Deliver application assistance through product knowledge and connecting customers with Schaeffler engineering group service and support.
- Effectively communicates sales milestones, customer issues and ensures Schaeffler has a clear understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Use Salesforce CRM software to document account activity and territory opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively within the Schaeffler organization to achieve industry goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of four (4) years sales and business development experience selling through Industrial Distributors, or in similar industries (i.e. Fluid Power, Fluid Sealing, Pumps, Motors, Couplings, Bearings)
- Possess strong mechanical aptitude
- High energy, self-motivated, self-learner and goal oriented
- Excellent planning skills to effectively manage priorities, time and travel
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Strong Computer Skills – IE. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce
- Availability for overnight travel approximately 35% of the time
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment visa or other sponsorship
