This locally owned business is scaling up and needs a skilled Office Manager to handle financials, calendar management, and day-to-day operations—all while working from the comfort of your home!
Position Summary:
As the Office Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the company’s operations run smoothly. From managing finances to keeping the company’s schedule organized, your efforts will directly support their continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Create and track invoices, ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and collaborate with the company’s accountant for tax preparation and compliance.
- Scheduling and Calendar Management:
- Manage the company’s project and client schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects meet deadlines.
- Keep the leadership team informed of key dates and upcoming commitments.
- Administrative Support:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain digital records, including contracts, permits, and project files.
- Assist in creating and managing systems to streamline office operations.
- Communication:
- Handle emails, calls, and inquiries with professionalism and promptness.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and partners through effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management, administration, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) and financial record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
