Budtender - Second Shift

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Second Shift Budtender to join our evening team. You’ll play a key role in helping customers find the right cannabis products, maintaining a clean and compliant store, and making sure the end-of-day shift runs smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced retail and wants to grow with a cannabis company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Experience & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection.
• Educate customers on different strains, effects, and methods of consumption.
• Create a positive shopping experience through great service and helpful recommendations.
• Relay any customer issues or feedback to your supervisor.

2. Compliance & Regulations

• Check and verify valid IDs per Maine cannabis law.
• Follow all legal requirements including product limits, packaging rules, and age restrictions.
• Support a compliant, secure retail environment.

3. Inventory & Store Appearance

• Restock shelves, rotate inventory, and keep displays looking fresh.
• Help with receiving and organizing product deliveries.
• Alert the manager when inventory is running low.
• Participate in evening inventory counts as needed.

4. Cleaning & Organization

• Maintain a tidy and professional-looking store throughout your shift.
• Sanitize surfaces and tools regularly to meet health and safety standards.
• Ensure closing tasks are completed to standard.

5. Team Support

• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Work together to ensure smooth shift transitions and a consistent customer experience.
• Stay informed on promotions, policies, and daily updates.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• IIC card holders strongly preferred — if you already have one, you’re ahead of the game!
• Retail or cannabis experience is helpful but not required.
• Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift inventory.
• Must have access to a laptop with an internet browser.
• Available to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.56 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
