Schedule:
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9am and 9pm, Monday through Saturday, 10am and 6pm, Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. Schedule usually includes an every other weekend rotation, day off during the week, 1-2 close nights per week and 2-3 days scheduled 6am-3pm for maintenance.
Responsibilities:
-
Efficiently provide maintenance and assembly of customer and store equipment. Equipment may involve bicycles, exercise machines, snowboards, skis, hockey skates and sticks, baseball gloves and bats, golf clubs, racquet sports, paintball markers and other merchandise in a Scheels Store.

Safely filling CO2 and compressed air tanks for paintball markers.

Maintain accurate and detailed records for store and customer equipment.

Ensure a clean and professional Environment.

Assist with delivering and loading customer equipment and merchandise at the store and to customer residences.

Ability to speak for extended periods to customers or associates

Build, repair, install and clean facility fixtures, cabinetry, flooring and wall coverings, windows, doors, partitions, carpets and carts

Assist with floor moves, building of displays and other miscellaneous duties relating to retail floor

Be knowledgeable of all equipment and tools and how to use them properly

Ability to make own decisions and exhibits sound judgment while practicing utmost safety working ethics

Exceptional problem solving, analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels policies and procedures.

Excellent writing (ex. reports) and verbal communication skills with groups of customers and associates.

Ability to complete basic mathematical equations, probability and statistical inference, geometry and trigonometry; compute rate, ratio and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings, holidays, and scheduled training meetings

Complete other duties as assigned by Leadership

Education & Experience:
A strong mechanical ability is preferred.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
