Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Revit Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed architectural designs using Revit software. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects to produce high-quality design solutions.
Duties
- Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Utilize additional software tools such as ERP systems and Autodesk Revit.
- Create detailed documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Draft technical drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Working cross functionally with team members.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and design modifications.
Experience
- Proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Familiarity with design principles and residential design processes is preferred.
- Experience with 2D animation tools is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience producing bill of materials a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating effective communication skills.
