IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director, Installed Consumer Services
POSITION SUMMARY:
Drive tactical marketing for direct to consumer divisions to help meet sales goals and business objectives for retail customers. Assist with all elements of the marketing and creative functions. Continue to advance all social media and track CRM data to maintain consumer divisions’ marketing edge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with Director of Installed Services to establish marketing goals, direction and budget for Scherer Bros. Consumer Divisions
- Determine marketing messages, and provide art direction for all marketing collateral; brochures, ads, signage, direct mail as required.
- Direct Mail: determine demographics, copy, frequency, effectiveness.
- Digital Marketing - Website:
- Direct the design, content and functionality of the consumer websites.
- Supervise outside resources for website to implement additions or revisions to keep content relevant and updated.
- Consult with Director to add new products to the website pages.
- Provide creative direction for photography assignments.
- Digital marketing: Social Media:
- Work in conjunction with vendors to determine effectiveness of SEM ,organic searches, keywords, site traffic, engagement, lead conversions
- Facebook, Instagram Posts
- Search Retargeting
- Online display ads, mobile apps
- Google Reviews
- Mailchimp: emails/newsletters content/frequency
- CRM: Database maintenance (Currently Access)
- Work with Director to develop, revise or maintain printed materials for showroom and sales tools for salespeople.
- Identify and manage outside creative and production resources.
- Manage company brand identity in any media for consumer divisions.
- Manage the allocation and claim processing for vendor co op programs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree in Business or Marketing preferred or comparable experience considered in lieu of degree
- 3 years marketing/professional experience required in business-to-consumers marketing
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to develop creative concepts and execute into print and electronic media.
- Proven self starter with ability to take initiative and work with minimal direction.
- In depth understanding of marketing/advertising principles and branding.
- Creative copywriting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing print and online communications.
- Strong creative, problem solving and resource management skills.
- Strong organizational, negotiation and project management skills.
- Media planning, buying and contract negotiation experience.
- Proficient in, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Photo Shop.
- Understanding of online advertising and social media applications.
