Schier is the leading manufacturer of grease interceptors for commercial kitchens in the United States. US sewers are aging poorly, and kitchen waste (food scraps and grease) is the leading cause of sewer problems: clogs, overflows, and capacity reduction. The resulting maintenance and repair costs taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars each year. • Based on company goals, translate complex financial information into actionable insights for leadership on how to optimize the business, including cash flow, risk management, operating income, and non-operating income. 
• Own and manage the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and modeling processes

The following bullets describe typical daily and weekly activities of this role:

• Perform Analysis: Conduct regular deep analysis of core financials and make recommendations on optimizations in key areas, including risk reduction, cash flow, and EBITDA.
• Forecast: Create models to aid in investment, CapX, and strategic decision-making.
• Generate reports: Create SOPs that improve the aesthetics, readability, and timeliness of all financial reports, data visualizations, and models. 
• Support and assist as needed with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
• Monitor performance and compliance. Able to compare Schier’s performance against industry leaders and present the findings in an understandable and actionable format. Ensure the company is in compliance with industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications for this role:

• Bachelors degree in an analytical or statistics program such as finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field. 
• At least 8 years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Strong spreadsheet and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent research, communication, and presentation skills—the ability to translate numbers into narratives and visuals to help decision-makers understand a situation.
• Superb attention to detail, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. 

Preferred Qualifications for this role:

• CPA, CMA, or CFA certifications
• Experience using AI tools
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
